ELLIE JADE’S STORY
Ellie Jade is a self-taught jeweller who built her brand in 2020. Based in the rural town of Tring, Ellie began developing her pieces from within a home-built garden studio. Ellie found her passion for jewellery at age 18 where she started making pieces from materials she could find around the house. During her art degree, Ellie found that her passion for jewellery grew stronger and after 8 months in her first year, she decided to drop out of university to follow her passion.
Between this time, she took on a job at the London Jewellery School as a marketing manager where her world opened up to the wonderful world of silversmithing. After 6 months she was unfortunately made redundant due to COVID-19 pandemic but decided not to stop there. It was then at aged 22, she decided to self-teach herself everything she could. Working tirelessly to discover techniques and abilities that would lift her jewellery career. She began teaching workshops from her garden studio in the place where she also designs her one-of-a-kind pieces.
Ellie continues to design and be inspired by the experiences and people she encounters along the way which all develop into her designs. From a young age, Ellie fell in love with miniature figurines and glass sculptures that can be seen across her designs. Along Ellie’s journey it is her purpose to continue bringing pieces that are unusual and bespoke in the most beautiful way possible.
