Learn how to create a beautiful spinner ring using traditional jewellery making techniques. A perfect class for beginners or anyone looking to get back into jewellery making. You will make a sterling silver ring shank, with two spinner bands over it. The class is a fun and intensive day to be creative and discover new skills. Classes will be taught 1:1 in my private studio. (Classes hold a maximum of 2 students)
The techniques covered in this class will include:
- Sawing
- Soldering
- Annealing
- Sanding and polishing
- Working with silver
- Tools and resources
- Doming Silver using a doming punch set
- How to carry on making silver jewellery after the class and much more…
You will make a 925-sterling silver spinner ring that can be textured to your choice and it will be ready to wear home!
What you need to bring to this class:
For this class, you don’t need to bring anything but yourself as everything is provided. Please note we will take a break during the day so it is advised to bring a packed lunch.
General Info:
As with all of our classes, all materials are included in the cost of the class as well as plenty of refreshments! The classes are all run by myself, a self-taught jeweller.
Please wear closed toed shoes, tie long hair back and bring your reading glasses if you use them.
